Last month, Pantone announced that the 2013 color of the year would be Emerald, and I couldn’t have been more excited because it’s one of my favorite colors to wear. I’ve been meaning to write this post for a few weeks now, but just haven’t had a lot of time lately between work and Theme Alchemy, a new site I’m starting to sell premium WordPress themes for beauty and fashion bloggers. I love Stila’s liquid eyeliners – they stay put all day and are super vibrant. This emerald colored sparkle liner would be great to pair under a black cat-eye or alone for a more subtle look.
Buxom Stay-There Eye Shadow: Saint Bernard
I have a few of these creme shadows from Buxom, and they have a great gel-like consistency – a lot like the Chanel shadow I reviewed a few weeks ago. They’re really easy to work with and they don’t crease! What more can you ask for? This emerald shade, Saint Bernard, is a must-have for 2013.

Who doesn’t love MUFE eyeshadows? This iridescent green shadow has the perfect amount of sparkle to glam up your look.

I’ve never worked with colored mascara before, but I definitely want to give this Smoky Lash mascara from MUFE a shot. I’m even thinking about creating an ombre mascara look, but we’ll see how that turns out.
Julep Nail Vernis: Emilie
I’ve always loved green nail polish, and it’s great for the winter season. Julep’s nail polishes are always vibrant and fast-drying, and Emilie is a great emerald shade for 2013.
