My Easy Halloween Makeup

I am not ashamed to say that I’m definitely one of those girls that embraces letting their inner-slut shine on Halloween, and this year I’m a bunny. Playboy bunny, bombshell bunny, sexy bunny, whatever you want to call it. It was budget friendly, and all I needed were the ears and a corset I already had lying around. I was originally going to just keep my makeup simple, but once I started going, I couldn’t stop – not that I did anything over-the-top or even very hard to do. It’s actually been a little while since I’ve really played with makeup (amazingly) because I have been toning it down since I’ve been sick the past couple months. This was the first night I really got to let loose with it.

I celebrated over the weekend by bar-hopping with some friends down in Montrose, and I’m planning to go with some other friends on Halloween night, maybe around Rice Village after some karaoke. My friend on the left was Robin Thicke, and I absolutely twerked on her all night.

Back to the makeup, this look is easy to achieve, and perfect if you’re going to be an animal this Halloween. I started out with a simple brown and gold smokey eye, using Sugarpill’s Goldilux along my top and bottom eye-line. I deepened up the outer corners and creases of my eye, extending the corner out near the ends of my eyebrows with Naked Cosmetics MN-06 from the Mother Nature Collection of Six. To finish it off, I wanted to give myself a dramatic cat-eye, and to make it even more animal-esque, I extended it down into the inner corners of my eyes.I used Stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner. On my lips, I wore my Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in Fiesta.DSCN8275
