Recently I’ve been looking into makeup and beauty related events to attend on behalf of myCosmeticBag, but the ones closest to me are always in New York. While I love visiting the city, it can get expensive to travel there all the time. The other events that are worth going to are in the LA area, but since Stela and Anisha both live on the west coast, it just makes more sense for them to go to those. So, I found myself wishing that there were more events or meetups in the Boston area for people like me who just really love makeup.
And that’s when I decided to create the Boston Makeup Group on Meetup.com! This group is open to anyone in Massachusetts who has a passion for makeup and cosmetics – whether you’re a makeup artist, beauty blogger, salon owner, or just an enthusiast, you are welcome to join us. For our first meetup, Ingenue Coquette is hosting a small dinner for 10 at Finale Desserts in Harvard Square on Saturday, July 15th. This is just going to be a casual meet-and-greet to talk about our love for makeup, get to know each other, and think about future meetups and events. Seats are already filling up, so if you’d like to attend, then you better RSVP quick!
