Sorry we haven’t been posting as frequently as we used to, but as you can see, the blog has gotten a bit of a makeover! And we have been focusing heavily on the development of our new website we hope to be launching in the coming weeks, so that’s taken some time away from the blog too. AND on top of all that, I recently made a big move from Boston, MA to Houston, TX… so I’ve been trying to settle in and reorganize my makeup too. In any case, I wanted to share an FOTD with you, using my new Tarina Tarantino Emerald Pretty Eyeshadow Palette! I did this makeup to get ready for a date, and I also wanted to try some new products I had bought before I left Boston, which I’ll review in the next few days.
Beauty in the Breakdown
Eyeshadow: Tarina Tarantino Emerald Pretty Eyeshadow Palette – I mixed some of the shades in this palette together to create new shades, but I mostly used Dandy Lion, Silver Shoes, and Ozma.
Mascara: Finally got the full-sized Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara in Black which I kind of want to review next week too. I LOVE this mascara and had been using the sample I got from an old Book of Shadows palette I got a while ago (I can’t even remember which one now) for a long time. That sample finally dried out and I’ve been using the full-sized one for a couple weeks and I fell right back into love with this product.
Lipstick: Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick Melondrama – will also review soon.
Lipgloss: ELLIS FAAS Milky Lips L208 0.095 oz – Used this to kind of tone done my lipstick.
The rest of the products I used, like eyeliner, foundation, and bronzer, are pretty much the ones I use every day – Dermablend, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, and Revlon liquid liner.
