FOTD: Mood Ring

I got myself Urban Decay’s Book Of Shadows IV from a Hautelook sale and I knew I wanted to create a look using its amazing jewel toned eye shadows. It was kind of fun playing with eyeshadow again… While this had been my type of makeup look for a long time (outside of my every day neutral eye look that I sported at work), I recently got my hair cut, so my look has actually changed drastically over the past two weeks. I have blunt bangs straight across my brow-line now, so I actually tend to focus on my lips and cheeks these days. In this picture you can see I tried to push my bangs to the side so they wouldn’t cover my eyes too much. Next week I’ll post my new everyday look.

Anyway here’s the break down for my Mood Ring look:

As I mentioned, all the eyeshadow I used was from the Urban Decay Book Of Shadows IV.

All over lid: Hijack
Crease: Gunmetal
Outer Corner: Cobra
Lower Line: Gravity
Upper Inner Corner: Baked
Lower Inner Corner: Midnight Cowgirl
Brow Bone: I blended Skimp from my brow bone into my crease to diffuse the Gunmetal shade, then applied Zephyr right on my brow bone to highlight.
Eyeliner: Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Perversion
Mascara: Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara Black

Same old, same old.

Foundation: MAKE UP FOR EVER Mat Velvet
Powder: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Medium
Contour: Benefit Cosmetics Boxed Powders Collection – Hoola
Cheeks: mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush – Afterglo

Lipstick: Benefit Cosmetics Silky-Finish Lipstick Good-to-Go
