NOTD/Review: Habit Cosmetics Nail Polish in Tabou and Belle Epoque

Another nail look featuring Habit Cosmetics, one of my new favorite nail polish brands. I love how easy it is to work with their polishes – it is a light formula that comes on wonderfully opaque. The active ingredient in these polishes is myrrh extract, which strengthens nails while also being anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

Habit is free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) and Camphor, and is made without animal testing. All good things in my book!

Habit Cosmetics Nail Polish: Tabou

“An orangey red so hot, it’s practically illegal.”

This shade is defined as semi-sheer – it took two thin coats to get a great opaque finish. I love how bright red this color is, and it has a beautiful orange undertone. I would define this as a fire-engine red.

Habit Cosmetics Nail Polish: Belle Epoque

“A serene lavender-blue inspired by the best things in life. Gorgeous on the nail, and one of our top sellers.”

I used this in my last notd, and I still love this polish. I only had to apply one coat of Belle Epoque, and it was totally opaque.
