How To: Fishtail Braid with Redken

TGIF! I am ready for the weekend and I have an easy hair tutorial to share with you guys today! This easy tousled fishtail braid is no muss, no fuss summer hairstyle. It’s perfect for your vacation to the beach or even just brunch with your girlfriends. The products that I’ve used are Redken Shampoo, Condition, their 10 Wax Blast and 18 Qucik Dry Hairspray. I first washed my hair with Redken’s All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner and then let my hair air dry.

Steps:

1. Once my hair was dry, I sprayed the roots of my hair with Redken’s Wax Blast 10 to give my hair more texture and it’ll help to create that messy, tousled look. (P.S. I also love the scent of this product!)

2. Then taking all my hair to one side, I parted it into two sections.

3. Starting on one half of the hair, I took a strand from the back of the part and combined it to the other half.

4. Repeat to the other half of hair.

5. Continue and finish the rest of your hair.

6. Once you are done, go back through and loosen up the braid. This will give you more of a messy, beachy braid.

7. Lastly, I took Redken’s Quick Dry 18 Hairspray to ensure my hair will stay all day. Also add in bobby pins to give your braid extra hold.
