Gorgeous Cosmetics Man Trap Lipstick Swatches

I’m a huge fan of Gorgeous Cosmetics, and I love this red-orange lipstick from them, called Man Trap. I originally received one as a press sample last year, but sadly misplaced it after a few uses. So, I was determined to buy a new one at The Makeup Show LA last month, but then the cap came loose in my purse a few days later, and now the whole bullet has dents in it. Thankfully it’s still usable – it’ll smooth out after some extended use. Coincidentally, Anisha had purchased this same shade and snapped the pictures you see above.

I should note that this lipstick is a LOT redder with flash. I have a soft yellow light in my bathroom, so that’s why the red appears much softer in some pictures. You can see a very noticeable difference.

Overall, I really like this lipstick and this red is a great match for my complexion. It’s not the most pigmented lipstick in my collection, but I kind of like it because it’s a lot more suitable for day-time looks if I use a light hand during application. It also feels very soft on the lips, isn’t sticky and does not dry out whatsoever. It does feather after a couple hours though, so I would recommend using lip liner underneath.
