Here’s a color I still haven’t taken off my nails – I present to you Zoya’s Nail Polish in Kym. Zoya describes Kym as an “antique copper base with gold, copper and pink reflective metallic sparkles. A complex sparkling red – mauve shade that’s perfect for nail polish fashionistas.” Beautiful color, if I do say so myself!
While the color is absolutely gorgeous, I wasn’t quite as fond of the staying power of the nail polish. Unlike the Essie nail polish I reviewed not too long ago that stayed on forever before chipping, Zoya actually fades away and chips a bit after about a week or so. It may be because it’s somewhere between sheer and opaque, but the website says the opacity level is pretty high. I applied two coats, but I think I may need to consider that third coat. You would definitely need to apply a top coat as well, as I normally didn’t in the past.
Regardless, I’m relatively happy. I have another beautiful shade I want to review in the future. Definitely check out Zoya Nail Polish when you’ve the chance; their wide selection of shades (all of which are names!) and collections are hard to set aside. If you check it out online, you have the opportunity to order a Zoya color spoon as well, to see if the shades you may like will go well with your skin shade and all. Check it out!
